Buy it for the batch resizing, then upgrade if you need it.
This is a great tool. I use it together with Little Snapper for a great screenshot toolset. It saves me a LOT of time. If I valued my time at $40/hour and this tool saves me anything over 15 minutes, then I came out ahead, right? Plus, you can tell that the developer puts thought into making things look beautiful and work flawlessly.
Oh yeah, you can buy more functionality. I dont see that as a ripoff. They dont keep it a secret that the features can be added by in-app purchases. Theres a full price list on the purchase page. Thats not pathetic baiting at all. I got exactly the features I needed in the main app, so I saved a few bucks. If you need the other features, pay for what you need. The developer puts a lot of time into adding a feature, then makes it available as a conveniently-downloadable plugin.
Only some sick sense of entitlement would make you think that you deserved the other features for free.
Great app.
